Some more friends!
Matt met this wicked couple from Finland, who we had met on a previous island. He spent the day with them and they took him snorkeling.
Matts Sailing Adventure
Unfortuntly I caught a vomitting bug that Matt had also had few days before, so I was unable to go on our sailing trip. I insisted Matt went so he could experience it for the both of us and get me some pics! He visited the island that the Tom Hanks film "Castaway" was filmed. On the shore, written in coconuts was the word "Castaway"!
Here is the sailing ship and my man! He said the whole day was amazing, with great snorkeling. He saw his first trigger fish and a stingray!! I was well jealous!!! But he did bring me a beautiful bracelet as a get well gift from the Fijian market he visited. What a sweetie!

Waya Lei Lei
I was taught how to weave a bracelet from banana tree leaves with the local women.
This is the island of Waya Lei Lei and it was one of our favourite islands! We lived within the village with the locals and met some really amazing people. Its a place we will never forget and would love to visit again someday.

Manta Ray
This was our second island, Manta Ray. We only stayed there for one night but had a cool time. We found out how much fun you could have with coconuts. Matt was cracking them with his bare fist (local man game......very macho!lol!), and I was taught how to make a coconut bracelet.
The guy in the orange reminded us so much of a young Lenny Henry, very funny!

caving
Today we took a guided caving trip. We had a short boat ride to a beautiful and uninhabited island. We were taken up to a hole in the rock face and lead down half a dozen concrete steps to a ledge in a huge dark cave full of water and told to jump in!! It was incredibly scarey as you couldn't see the bottom and you wondered what was in there with you? But the guide assured us it was safe so in we went! The back of the cave was vast and open and the light poured in from above, giving you a beautiful blue pool.
Unfortunately we don't have any photos of the second cave, as you had to swim through an underwater tunnel to get to it!! Bloomin scarey but well worth it!
